About Me

Welcome to Reflections of Glass. I enjoy making beautiful stained glass pieces and want them to be affordable for everyone who enjoys this medium. I have always loved stained glass, but thought it was too expensive, which is one of the reasons I decided to learn how to do it. I enjoy the artistic side of it, as well as working with the glass itself which always has a special characteristic about it. I now have begun to incorporate other elements such as seashells and glass nuggets into the design that complement the piece and the natural environment it is meant to reflect.

Working with Agates

"Fractured Agate" is a new piece that was commisioned by Loretta.  She is a local artist and saw some of my signature agate pieces when we were both showing our work at The Hunt Building during Nashua Art Walk.  She had an agate that had broken into several pieces that was precious to her.  It was from a place her family had visited years ago, and she asked if I could incorporate it into a stained glass piece.

I love working with agates, and sea glass, and plan to incorporate sea shells and other natural materials into my work.  They add character to the piece and it complements the glass making it more earthy.  This agate, in particular, was fun to work with because of its brilliants colors and size.

Mont Vernon Art Show and Sale

The Mont Vernon Artisans held their 4th Annual Show and Sale last weekend here in Mont Vernon, NH.  It was a great success featuring artists displaying their work in stained glass, silver, photography, textiles, beads, pottery, oils, acrylics, watercolor, and more. I met great people from all over New England who enjoy art.

One of the favorite stained glass pieces was this ornamental star which is available in several types of glass.  Another favorite was the agate suncatchers as they were all sold the first day!
